Russian airborne troops are set to work out how to target terrorists in America as part of a joint anti-terror drill with the United States to be held in Fort Carson, Colorado at the end of the following month. “Airborne troops from Russia and the United States, joint anti-terror drill to be held in the U.S. state of Colorado between May 24 and 31,” the Xinhua news agency reported, citing Russian Ministry of Defense Col. Alexander Kucherenko. The story was also reported by Russian news outlet RIA Novosti. The exercises, which is the first time that the country in the two airborne troops have joint exercises held on U.S. soil will mark will revolve around the “exploration of imaginary terrorists’ camp and a raid,” and will also evacuation of the troops involvement by helicopter. The Russian soldiers will also gain access to U.S. special service weapons at Fort Carson.
